    Manhattan Legal Services, established in 1968, has been the primary provider of civil legal services to low income residents residing inNorthern Manhattan. The multi-lingual staff provides legal assistance in the areas of: Eviction Prevention, Government Benefits (Public Assistance/Food Stamps), Social Security, Consumer Law, Employment Law and Disability Benefits and operates a specialized HIV/AIDS and Domestic Violence Units.
