ROAD International is an NGO, registered under the Laws of Kenya with the core purpose of playing a pivotal role in poverty reduction and vulnerability among marginalized and minority communities in Eastern Africa by empowering them to protect their assets and attain sustainable livelihoods. In addition, ROAD International provides Professional services in Intergrated community development;Operational Research; Projects planning and design; Project Management; Monitoring, Evaluation and impact assesment; Environmental Management services; Business Management and development Advisory services.

ROAD International also undertakes community, staff and institutional training for capacity building on best practices and contemporary issues in transformational development;gender empowerment; results based management; participatory project planning and design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;participatory leadership and project good governance principles and practices; networking and collaboration; and projects resources management for enhanced accountability and sustainability of impacts.
