Collectively, we began saving street cats in 2009, and founded our non-profit not long after (some of us have been in rescue for 20+ years). This team is small and mighty, undertaking zero-dark-thirty rescue missions under the cover of the night sky, while simultaneously establishing a strong network of foster families and promoting each rescue for adoption once they are ready. The best part about this work is to watch a transformation unfold, where a cat goes from living in perilous circumstances on the street to living a happy, healthy life with bunches of love.
Our goals are to continue on the journey of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats in our local area, to be a part of the solution to a never-ending cycle of misfortune that befall domestic animals, to educate the community and those who want to become responsible foster or adoptive families, and to be a voice within the national network so that together, we make a difference.
We are a foster-based organization, with an average of 10 rescue cats in our care under normal circumstances . Our primary work centers on finding forever homes for each. We can only continue to rescue when we have a landing spot for the cat. Our most important ongoing need is to promote cats for adoption, and to find suitable foster homes so we can continue our mission.
