SUN CITY WEST PRIDES, INC

WHAT DO WE DO? We volunteer an hour and a half on Saturday mornings. We are proud to maintain 26 miles of common areas by trimming shrubs and trees, planting plants, spreading and raking rocks, as well as picking up the trash. In addition, we have nine irrigation monitors who maintain 26 miles of pipe for watering trees and bushes. Although you may see some members dressed in their orange vests or jackets and caps on other days, our major effort is Saturday mornings. A great deal of our work is physical, but we also have a need for volunteers to help with record keeping, communicating with our members and the public, computer input, purchasing equipment and supplies, maintaining our equipment, and helping serve coffee, rolls, and donuts at our monthly meetings.

Everyone is welcome in the SCW PRIDES! There are no dues and orange vests, gloves, and gardening equipment are provided. We never take attendance, join us for some fun and exercise!
