About Us

Established in 1973, The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts produces one of the largest and longest-running free outdoor summer festivals in the United States, presenting some of the best and most celebrated artists in music, dance, theatre and beyond – from around the county, the country and the globe.

The Levitt Pavilion is dedicated to providing FREE and abundant access to the performing arts; presenting a dynamic constellation of established and emerging artists, all of whom are paid; and cultivating an outdoor destination where people of all ages and backgrounds are ALL and ALWAYS welcome to enjoy the arts, enjoy nature, and enjoy each other.

Every season the Pavilion provides over 50 nights of live arts and entertainment free of charge to an audience totaling over 50,000 – from Fairfield County, more than thirty neighboring communities and beyond! To date, the Pavilion has welcomed over 1.5 MILLION guests under the stars - and we are preparing for the next million.

Summer lives here.
