Eagle Island Camp

In everything we do, we inspire and empower girls and young women to be confident, collaborative, and courageous through unplugged Adirondack experiences.

We are a place where girls grow into fearless women, ready to embrace challenges, get their hands dirty, and change the world! We are a 31-acre island on Upper Saranac Lake in upstate New York. We are a youth camp, a place for camp alumni and friends to gather, and a resource for the Adirondacks.

Eagle Island’s programming is designed to make optimal use of our exceptional, natural location. Water and wilderness activities form the foundation of our programming and are supplemented by a wide variety of staff- and camper-led programming across arts and crafts, sports, music and drama, nature, creative pursuits, and team-building.

We believe that young people are profoundly impacted by tech-free camp experiences. By providing new adventures and challenges, we foster a safe and fun environment in which each individual can build on their own unique potential.

Camp Is for All

We believe that camp is a life-changing experience that should be accessible to all, regardless of means. To make this belief a reality we are deliberate in the pricing of our youth programming and are committed to working with families to find practical financial solutions. We actively raise funds to provide financial assistance to youth campers.

Conservation and Environmental Stewardship

We believe that experiencing the spirit, peace, and beauty of nature firsthand leads to greater appreciation and desire to preserve natural environments.
