Uniting America-Lake County

Uniting America is a program that builds connections between immigrants and their non-immigrant neighbors. Dwight D. Eisenhower once said "there is nothing wrong with America that the faith, love of freedom, intelligence and energy of her citizens cannot cure." Uniting America is just that-it is an opportunity for America's citizens to use their faith, love of freedom, intellengence and energy to build brideges taht separate our communites next door-it is an opportunity to work together. Through volunteerism, community service, and intercultural events Uniting America's goal is to bring together long term residents and new American.
