The Link is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit started in 1991 by Jim Marshall and Oscar Reed, two former Minnesota Vikings football players. Then known as Professional Sports Linkage, the organization has since evolved into a 20 staff, 16 Board member run agency serving over 540 people annually providing in-home and in-community truancy intervention services; family support; community outreach and trainings; affordable, supportive housing; and after-school and summer youth groups.
