    About Us

Create Visible Role Models Representation is a catalyst for change. Women of Winter is committed to elevating BIPOC Women as leaders androles models within the Snowsports Industry. By increasing visibility through certifications, public speaking, professional development and volunteerism, we foster an environment of inclusivity. Our programs create pathways for women to become change makers.

Establish a Community Beyond visibility, community creates belonging. Our PSIA-AASI Level I Course and Exam is composed entirely ofBIPOC women, serves as incubators for community-building and collective growth. These cohorts provide a foundation for lifelong relationships and peer mentorships on and off the snow.

Educate Within our Communities We strongly believe that education affords us the skills, abilities and confidence to stand in our truth and own ourauthority. We want to empower women and girls to feel comfortable on the hill. We want to foster and supportchange-makers. We want to get BIPOC women and girls on the hill and provide them with the education to feelconfident in their skiing and snowboarding skill sets. Many of us at Women of Winter are ski and snowboardinstructors who have worked in resorts around the world. Our programs are nationally recognized that help to promote a more equitable and inclusive society, improving understanding and empathy, fostering creativity and innovation, and creating positive environments within their own communities and beyond.

Reducing Barriers to Access Snowsports remains one of the most financially and culturally exclusive activities. Women of Winter addressesthese inequities by offering free or subsidized programming with the support of our volunteers, partners, funders and donors.
