    The Youth Leadership Council was founded in 1988 as a 501c(3) with the mission of strengthening leadership skills among the Greater Houston area's Asian American youth.

    It has evolved to include young professionals, college students, and community leaders who work year-round to coordinate and produce the annual Youth Leadership Conference, which offers unique opportunities for high school students to explore leadership skills with challenging workshops, engaging discussions, theme-oriented activities, and relevant guest speakers.
