The Highbridge Green School

The Highbridge Green School is a community school that cares for each of our students’ academic, emotional, and physical well-being. By providing our students with a strong academic foundation, relevant learning experiences, and a safe and loving environment, we will empower them to have and make successful choices in high school, college, careers, and beyond.

We will accomplish our mission by providing our students the following:

• Rigorous, college-preparatory classes in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies that emphasize reading, writing, and environmental sustainability
• Character development through daily Advisory classes
• Healthy and nutritious food that students grow themselves in our greenhouse and green roof
• Exercise, arts, and athletic programs
• Access to technology
• Frequent celebration of growth and achievement

We are located in the Highbridge neighborhood of the Bronx and will serve students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.
