Who We Serve:

We serve Ventura County’s 800,000 residents and offer in person educational services to Santa Barbara and Los Angeles Counties and online educational services nationwide.

About Us:

There is a multitude of issues currently facing communities all over the world. Marigold Farms Inc hopes to be a leader by inspiring, empowering, and supporting the residents of Ventura County and surrounding areas to make changes to their community by addressing both environmental issues and social issues. Each program is fueled through our small farm in Ojai, California.

At the farm, we grow seedlings/starters as free giveaways to those in the community looking to grow organic produce at home or in community gardens each season. We grow vegetables, herbs, and fruit on our 1/4 acre land to donate to partnering nonprofits and to the community at large from our produce cart. We donate 95% of the produce we grow to the community to help those who are food insecure. The other 5% we grow is left for pollinators as well as for seed saving. We are currently bulking up our seed library so that we can donate our seeds to the community.

How We Support Our Community:

The Community Support Program allows us to provide produce, seedlings, seeds, chicken manure, compost, as well as other farm products to the community. We work with other nonprofits including community gardens and community food forests. We are also working on building a community farm cart that will allow families to drive up on the weekend to pick up farm goods. We hope that our Community Support Program will help address some of the social issues our community faces including food insecurity.

Grow-A-Garden Projects:

The Grow-A-Garden program is currently running one ongoing Project: Seasonal Seedling Giveaway. We give away seedlings in spring, summer, and fall. There's a maximum of 2 plants per household if sponsorship increases we will be able to increase the giveaways to 3 plants per household. This project is open to all residents in Ventura County. We also give away seedling trays to schools and nonprofits in Ventura County & Santa Barbara County.
