Glendale Humane Society

At the Glendale Humane Society we believe a dog or cat can be your best friend. Because of this, we have been helping to bring people and pets together for more than 90 years. As a private non-profit 501(c)(3) no-kill facility, we keep all animals clean, comfortable and safely in our care until you come to give them a permanent home. Since founded in 1924 we have united many lost and abandoned companion animals in Southern California with people who have loving homes. Our vow and mission is to provide a compassionate haven for dogs and cats while you get to know each other better and ultimately they transition to a new residence. We rely on private donations and all funds received go towards helping people and pets develop positive, long-term relationships. After all, best friends are forever.

Our goal is to ensure as many dogs and cats as possible receive the second chance for life they deserve.
