  • Mission

To provide comprehensive support to improve quality of life for people with ALS and their families, while advocating for increased support and advancing innovative research for new treatments and an end to ALS.

    About Us

ALS United Connecticut was first founded in 1988 by a group of volunteers. In the mid-1990s as a result of a local fundraiser, the chapter hired its first staff person. Since that time, we have grown steadily. We are dedicated to supporting people affected by ALS and efforts for treatments and cures - research, patient & community services, public education and advocacy.
