The Epiphany School of Charlotte

  • About Us

The Epiphany School of Charlotte is a faith based school for children with social and communication challenges. It is a skills based approach forchildren who move through the social world a little differently. Our students might have conditions such as Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, or another learning disability. Or, they might have no formal diagnosis at all. Their commonality is a departure from the "main stream" that affects communication, perception and ultimately learning.

Enrollment in The Epiphany School is available to 6-14 year olds (grades 1-8) whose primary difficulties with social and communication skills impact their ability to learn comfortably and productively. In a small classroom setting, our teachers embrace the individuality of learning, as well as its complexity. We seek to discover each student's unique way of acquiring and retaining knowledge. We help students move forward, manage their struggles by leaning on strengths, and cultivate more skills all along the way.
