About Us
The H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Pursue Education) Scholarship Initiative was established in 2010. The H.O.P.E. Scholarship is a non-profit organization designed to empower financially challenged facing financial hardships, particularly those attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Our Mission
Our mission is to make quality education affordable to deserving students. We believe no student should be denied access to a quality education simply because they lack the necessary funds. Household incomes cannot continue to dictate academic outcomes.
Our Motto
Anyone can make a difference. You don't have to be a genius or a millionaire to make a positive contribution to society. Hard work, determination and a passion for service can turn any dream into a reality.
Message from H.O.P.E. Scholarship Board of Directors:
H.O.P.E. is more than just a word of encouragement. It’s an ideology that drives us to improve the people and the places around us (through education). Our goal is to raise scholarship money for students and ask them to pay it forward in the future. Help us, help others.
