    Volunteer Action for Cambodia (VAC) is a part of STAR Kampuchea (SK), a local non-governmental organization established in December 2004. SK's mission is to educate and empower people to advocate for good governance and sustainable natural resource management. VAC values the impact of international volunteers/interns on their society and believes in finding the right volunteers for the right experiences. VAC aims to provide a meaningful experience for volunteers by connecting them with local NGO communities and their needs. Volunteers will learn about the real world in various sectors such as democracy, empowerment, and cultural exchanges, as well as provide safe and affordable means of travel to foster a multi-cultural experience with the common goal of assisting those in need. By volunteering with VAC, you can make a difference in the lives of others while also gaining valuable skills and experiences.

    Volunteer Action for Cambodia (VAC) was founded in 2010 by a group of Cambodian professionals who wanted to make a positive difference in their country. VAC's mission is to empower local communities through education, health, and environmental projects that promote sustainable development and social justice. VAC's programs include teaching English and computer skills to rural children and youth, providing medical care and hygiene education to remote villages, and supporting organic farming and reforestation initiatives. VAC has achieved remarkable results in improving the lives and opportunities of thousands of Cambodians, especially women and children. VAC welcomes volunteers from all over the world who share its vision and values, and who want to contribute their skills and time to help VAC's beneficiaries.
