Caldwell Theatre Company in the Count de Hoernle Theatre

Caldwell Theater Company is the only professional theater located in Boca Raton, Florida. Over the past 33 seasons, this regional theater has staged more than 150 productions in three locations, winning 71 prestigious Carbonell awards for classics, revivals, musicals, and original scripts. Caldwell selects its own plays, hires actors, designers and technicians from across the United States and builds its owns sets and costumes for each production. Caldwell’s 1994 production of Papa, starring Len Cariou, went on to play Off Broadway at the Douglas Fairbanks Theater in May 1996, and the musical Cowgirls, also originated by Caldwell in 1994, was later staged at New York City’s Minetta Lane Theatre. Through Caldwell’s highly acclaimed productions and community outreach initiatives, the theater continues to provide an environment where imaginations soar - and professional theater thrives.
