    About Us

The International Refugee Rights Association (IRRA) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to defending the rights and dignity of refugees, asylum seekers, and forcibly displaced persons. Founded on the principle that being a refugee is a human right, IRRA works at the national and international levels to ensure protection, equality, and social inclusion for those forced to flee their homes.

    Our activities include:

    • Legal Aid and Advocacy: Providing free legal support, monitoring detention centers, and advocating against forced returns, discrimination, and human rights violations.
    • Humanitarian Assistance: Delivering targeted aid to meet urgent needs, with a focus on vulnerable groups such as women, children, and persons with disabilities.
    • Research and Awareness: Conducting in-depth research, publishing reports, and raising public awareness to influence policy and promote evidence-based solutions.
    • Capacity Building: Organizing trainings, workshops, and public events to strengthen refugee resilience and foster solidarity between host communities and refugees.

IRRA collaborates with international organizations, local NGOs, and public institutions to create sustainable, rights-based solutions. We serve all displaced communities, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, religion, or legal status, guided by the universal values of human dignity, justice, and compassion.
