  • About Us

Founded in 1993, the Notre Dame Haiti Progam is dedicated to the elimination of the disease Lymphatic Filariasis (LF), a mosquito-borne disease that affects roughly 2 million Haitians. The Program employs a three-pillared approach to achieve this goal: mas drug administratio, co-fortified salt distribution, and healing of those afflicted by LF. Additional activities include labratory research, field work, clinical community outreach, and surgical operations; all of which are centered that Hopital San Croix in Leogane, Haiti. A vast network of local and international partnerships enables the Haiti Program to continue its efforts in eliminating LF in Haiti.
