MARYLAND BAR FOUNDATION INC

  • Mission

The Maryland Access to Justice Commission (A2JC; https://www.mdaccesstojustice.org/) works to make MD’s civil justice system accessible, equitable and fair for all Marylanders. Low-income Marylanders’ access to civil justice is limited by insufficient resources (e.g., free legal services) available to them. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased Marylanders’ need for help to handle civil legal cases, such as eviction or domestic abuse cases.

    About Us

The A2JC has only one paid staff person, an Executive Director. She is looking for assistance managing and completing the many different tasks she must accomplish. These tasks include managing discrete projects; communicating with partner agencies and organizations; writing grant applications and reports; and creating content for blogs, social media, and the A2JC website.
