MIMA Music, Inc.

MIMA Music is an educational nonprofit organization with a mission to engage and enrich disadvantaged communities through music improvisation.

MIMA Teaching Artists lead groups of students through the process of songwriting, recording and performing in a collaborative environment that builds musical skills and develops essential noncognitive skills such as creativity, curiosity and confidence.

MIMA programs are managed and administered by MIMA Music, Inc., an intercultural organization with American 501(c)3 charity status founded by Christoph A. Geiseler in Princeton, NJ in 2004.

MIMA's network includes musicians and partners in: Argentina, Brazil, China, Cyprus, El Salvador, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Jamaica, Nepal, Spain and across the USA.
