artsScene is a group of leading young professionals dedicated to fostering the growth of the arts in Canada through volunteerism, patronage and support. Our goal is to develop the next generation of business leaders who support the arts.
artsScene aims to act as a creative hub, connecting emerging leaders to the arts by:
- Inspiring interest in the arts through unique and innovative events and programs;
- Offering ways to engage in the arts through volunteerism, forums, and mentorship;
- Providing recognition for outstanding involvement in the arts through the Arnold Edinborough Award.
artsScene is not only a local but a national network of like-minded young professionals who support the arts. Since its inception in Toronto in 2006, artsScene chapters have also been established in Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa – Gatineau, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
artsScene was created by Business for the Arts (BftA), a national non-profit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of business involvement in the arts.
