About Us

Friends for Youth has been offering award-winning services to youth residing in San Mateo and Northern Santa Clara counties since 1979.


Our program creates and supports mentorships between youth facing socioeconomic obstacles and caring adult volunteers. We do this through community-based 1-to-1 Mentoring and school-based Group Mentoring. Friends for Youth provides training and ongoing support, fun activities and free ticket opportunities!
