Emergency Food Network
The mission of the Emergency Food Network (EFN) is “to provide Pierce County with a consistent, diverse and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry.”
EFN is the primary food distributor to more than 60 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters in Pierce County. In order to accomplish their mission, EFN operates a Distribution Center and an 8-acre organic farm. With the help from more than 2,600 volunteers, EFN is able to distribute more than 15 million pounds each year to hungry individuals and families.
