About Us

Everything Jesus Ranch (EJR) is a Bible-based non-denominational Christian ministry situated on a 114 acre river front ranch in the town of Seguin, in south central Texas. The components of EJR’s ministry include a K-12 college preparatory Christian academy, a licensed raw milk dairy, extensive raised bed natural gardens, pastured livestock, an equestrian program, and a variety of innovative sustainable living oriented ministries, including our cloth diaper ministry.

Volunteer opportunities include working in the following areas: MooJesus! Raw Milk Dairy, pastured poultry, equestrian program, our bio-intensive gardens. EJR also needs volunteers to assist in the development of an organic food bank with service and educational components for families and children. We also need seamstresses to help sew beautiful cloth diapers for low-income families.

Other opportunities include basic construction and green building, especially rammed earth and compressed earth block (we own a CEB machine), maintenance, dairy store, and development of new ministry. In addition, we are seeking individuals with artistic backgrounds to teach pottery, drama, painting, and spinning and weaving to our eager students.

We are totally flexible in regard to duration and terms of volunteer service. We are slowly but surely building an intentional Christian community, and it is our desire to have believers of all ages and nationalities coming and going and sometimes staying or returning--a dynamic community!

We are a multicultural organization and welcome people of all backgrounds and denominations. We speak French, Portuguese, Spanish, Cape Verdean Creole and English and are familiar with Chinese, Philippine, Ethiopian and South African cultures. Mostly we are grounded in Christian culture which means that it doesn't matters where anyone comes from--what matters is that they love and serve Jesus.

We are happy to have singles young and old, and families with school age children, but volunteer stays for families with schoolkids should be coordinated with vacation or school semester schedules. People with pets are certainly considered.

We have private homes, rooms in our guest house, and shared home living arrangements.

Besides serving Lord, the food and the community are the best things about this place--totally organic and delicious everything, and really interesting folks to play, compose, do sports do art and hang out with. We are omnivores with a commitment to eating a lot of raw food each day, but a vegetarian would do fine in this environment.

We are looking for people who love Jesus, are emotionally stable, self directed and excited about venturing into new areas of learning. It is very helpful to work with volunteers who enjoy reading and interactive exchange.

Prospective volunteers should look at our website: moojesus.com then contact Gina at gina@ejranch.com. Write a little bit about your passions, your gifts, your volunteer desires and your relationship with Jesus, and we can begin a dialogue via email.
