The Community

We are an AMI (anti-mass incarceration) organization of several highly educated currently and formerly incarcerated people and their loved ones devoted to fostering a motivating sense of community among those involved or interested in AMI efforts (which is anything that combats the destructiveness of mass incarceration). Among our several efforts is a newsletter (the most widely-read publication in the Wisconsin prison system - 9,000 incarcerated readers) and the Correct the Narrative Campaign confronting communities with the successes, humanity, and agency of people with records.
