Community Center of Abingdon

  • Mission

To provide services to the community of Abingdon and the residents of Washington County VA.

    About Us

The community Center of Abingdon serves the people in the town of Abingdon as well as residents of Washington County VA. Meals on Wheels are provided for residents who are home bound and disabled - this includes Vets and 1st responders. Meals are delivered every Monday and Thursday by volunteers who provide their time and gas to assist these residents who are in need. All meals are cooked by our chef and they are nutritious and healthful.

There are rooms available for rent for special events, meetings, conferences. Weddings, Receptions, Birthday, Anniversary or Christmas parties. We provide the tables, linens, etc. and our chef can prepare a wonderful meal for the event. We can accommodate from a few to hundreds.

The Center is also COVID-19 compliant. We can hold a maximum of 106 people, social distanced, for any event. Masks are required to enter the facility. We sanitize daily, we are a non-smoking facility (a smoking section outside is provided) and we have a full commercial kitchen for your catering needs.
