About Us

Oxfam Trailwalker is the world’s greatest team challenge, as well as Oxfam Canada's premiere fundraising event of the year.

The challenge is to complete 100km in 48 hours as a team of 4. Each team must start together, stick together and finish together. The event is not just physically demanding, but it is also a fundraising challenge. When you register, your team commits to raising $ 2,500 and all proceeds go towards Oxfam Canada's efforts in making a difference in the lives of women and girls, men and boys living in poverty.

Oxfam Trailwalker Canada will take place on the weekend of July 22nd to 24th, 2011 on the Ganaraska Hiking Trail starting at Snow Valley Ski Resort near Barrie, Ontario and ending in the City of Orillia.

Oxfam Canada builds lasting solutions to global poverty and injustice. We work with allies in Canada and around the world to change the policies and practices that perpetuate human suffering. We support organizations in poor communities overseas in their struggle to secure basic rights. Oxfam's advocacy and campaigns for just policies are rooted in the knowledge and experience gained in that struggle. .
