About Us
The Ignite Institute is a leadership and innovation lab at the Pacific School of Religion (PSR) in Berkeley. The Ignite Institute is a lean start-up intrapreneurship venture responsible for developing innovative business models for social change and leadership training programs for morally grounded changemakers in both nonprofit and for profit spaces. Ignite is the liaison with Ashoka U for the Changemaker Campus designation of PSR. The Ignite Institute’s mission also includes connecting PSR to radically different constituencies who might otherwise never identify themselves with a progressive school of theology.
All programs are designed to provide tangible tools in navigating the increasing complexity in both the workplace and in life, so present today
