MAGICAL HOLIDAY PARADE

  • Mission

To continue our neighborhood tradition for the 37th year, using our parade as a way to bring our local communities together to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season on Christmas Eve night in Toluca Lake, North Hollywood and Burbank, California.

    About Us

Since 1984, a caroling truck garnished with lights and ornaments has traveled the streets of Burbank, North Hollywood, and Toluca Lake on Christmas Eve, much to the delight of families eating dinner with their loved ones. The 42-foot-long flatbed truck, which holds approximately 50 carolers, is followed by smaller parade vehicles, dancers, and elves, as well as Frosty, Mrs. Claus, and Santa.

The event’s organizers, in collaboration with Penny Lane Centers, also collect small, unwrapped gifts on the route. Gifts will then be delivered to Penny Lane’s foster children, ages 6 to 18.

Organizers invite parade attendees to give donations-new toys, winter jackets and scarves, movie tickets, hygiene essentials, and gift cards to food or clothing stores-to Santa’s elves. Gifts are then delivered to Penny Lane Centers North Hollywood on Christmas day.

The parade is 100% volunteer based with 150 members of the community giving their time to pull off this event every Christmas Eve and funded by the generous donations of those in and around the neighboring communities via Go Fund Me. Every year’s parade might be the last, however, if we cannot raise funds and encourage volunteers to join the production.
