About Us

First Things First (FTF) is a new state-funded program to ensure that Arizona's children are healthy and ready to attend school. The FTF External Evaluation (FTFEE) is a comprehensive five-year project that will involve faculty, staff and students from the three State universities. Project personnel will assess over 10,000 children and hundreds of families and community stakeholders across the three geographic regions. Data Collectors will interview parents and child care providers and conduct developmental assessments with children ages three to five years throughout the southern part of the state. The position is temporary with variable schedules that may include evenings and weekends.
