    The Kansas City Anti-Violence Project (KCAVP) is a grassroots nonprofit corporation founded in 2003 that is working to end domestic violence, sexual assault and bias crimes (also known as hate crimes) in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community focused on the metropolitan Kansas City area as well as western Missouri and eastern Kansas.
