    Safe Speaks was started in mid-2020 by Edith Mecha as a personal blog with a mission to raise awareness on gender-based violence. Since then, Safe Speaks has grown to a robust digital advocacy and activism platform fighting for a safe space for women and girls. It is now a network of passionate women globally who believe women deserve a peaceful and safe life to thrive. Also, that women's rights are human rights, and women should explore their God-given talents for the good of society.
