  • About Us

SRDC’s mission is to transform the tidal Schuylkill River Corridor, between the Fairmount Dam and the Delaware River, from a formerly industrial no-man’s land into a valuable City asset that connects people and encourages new and continued investment in Philadelphia. SRDC works with key stakeholders to revitalize Schuylkill Banks by building and maintaining riverfront trails, greenways, and related infrastructure, and by developing public programming along the river corridor. This drives recreation, transportation, community, economic, and environmental improvements that benefit neighbors, the city, and the region.
