About Us

Since 1961, The Buckeye Ranch has offered hope to countless children and families who are struggling with emotional, behavioral and mental health issues. Every day, more than 1,100 children and families benefit from the Ranch's many programs and treatment services. From family counseling to residential care, the Ranch's mission is to provide care that focuses on the strength of each child. By offering a variety of services, Ranch staff can tailor a treatment program to meet the individual needs of each child and family served. Nationally recognized for high quality care and innovative programming, The Buckeye Ranch provides a full continuum of services to emotionally disturbed children, adolescents and their families. The wide array of treatment options enable our clients to access the most appropriate level of care as they address their mental health issues. The Buckeye Ranch provides 24-hour care for boys and girls ages 10-18 on our 150-acre campus. In addition, the Ranch offers crisis stabilization for children as young as 6. Treatment focuses on and enhances each child's individual strengths. The Buckeye Ranch offers residential dual diagnosis programs to help children, ages 12-18, who have a substance abuse problem as well as emotional, mental or behavioral issues. The treatment focuses on the unique problems of each youth in the program.
