Figure Skating in the City
Figure Skating In The City is a program that serves elementary and middle school girls in Baltimore City. We use figure skating to help build self-confidence, strengthen academic achievement and promote physical well-being of those in under-served communities. With our program, FSTC will use lessons learned on the ice to enhance classroom and life skills off the ice. Figure Skating In The City will help transform the lives of inner city girls by providing them with the practical tools to grow in confidence, academic achievement, leadership & teamwork and combat obesity.
Figure Skating in the City is looking for volunteers for our Friday sessions, 3-4pm at Patterson Park ice rink. We are also looking for donations!
In addition, we might have classes coming soon to Mt. Pleasant Ice Rink off of Northern Parkway, Friday's from 4-5pm.
Please contact me via email or phone.
Experience with basic ice skating skills and working with kids a plus!
