One Link Resource Centre

one link Resource Centre was formed after series of forums and meetings, with objective to facilitate community empowerment in education,and socioeconomic development to work with volunteer who are lending helping hand and also as cultural ambassadors .one link team together with community of whom we give our services have formalized the specifically for the building of a new and greatly needed resource centre that will provide a focal point for the whole RUSINGA island community but also essential for educational & health training and offer good ground for international exchange programmes(volunteer) i.e internship, work study and research through linkages.

 the centre ,shall be connecting this densely populated rural island to the global community,and is an essential need for the community.

the centre shall be a full time for work away, helpers and volunteers.and be an inclusive centre for exchange. please be one of the change makers, by making it to be our first and second volunteer.

Initially, we are looking VOLUNTEERS

across the globe to help us work for a common course,for solicitation of resources, work in perme-culture and organic agriculture .we have drawn up formal plans for the main building with contractors who have given the green light for the project while we are registered with the local authorities as both a charity and for planning permission.

Its important to note that typically in this part of rural Kenya the local people are almost exclusively subsistence farmers who live day to day on between €0.80c - €1.80. There has been a drought for the past 3 years which is ongoing; Even the smallest support will make a big difference and there is no greater cause than to give this community hope for a better future by volunteering and any kind of support.
