Now Hiring Math Tutors and Graduation Assistants for Spring 2016
Pay it Forward:
Give 43 hours of service a week to at-risk students at Reagan or Travis High School.
Give your knowledge, skills, and personal “story” to your caseload of students.
Give your Esprit de Corps to your fellow members and staff.
Earn an education award upon completion of service ($2,887.50 for half-time status and $2,200 for reduced half-time status).
Earn relevant, full-time, post-graduation work experience.
Earn a rich caseload experience to maximize your professional path. (Many members serving come with Social Work and Psychology backgrounds seeking real-world experience to draw upon in graduate school.)
Provides a stepping stone to post-service goals (paid employment, competitive edge in graduate school admission process, Peace Corps, etc.).
Earn a permanent ticket to a like-minded network of AmeriCorps alumni and professionals.
Monthly living allowance of approximately $1,285 gross
