    The Taunton Literacy Council's mission is to support the adult literacy program of the Taunton Public Schools / Bristol Community College Adult Education Partnership. The partnership provides literacy education to adults from Taunton and surrounding towns in order that they might reach their full potential in their personal lives and employment goals.

    About Us

    The TPS/BCC Adult Ed Partnership holds day and evening classes for over 200 adults who are learning to speak English or improve their reading, writing and math skills in order to get a better job or a GED. The program makes extensive use of volunteer tutors who work one-on-one with the students outside of class in order to further their progress on their stated goals.
