What is our mission at
CISO?
"Empowering Students to Stay in School and
Achieve in Life"
Communities In Schools of Orting understands that it
'takes a village' and that our schools can't do it alone. Our school-based
coordinators work directly with at risk students to connect them with a support
system that includes mentors, tutors, social services, resources for health and
dental care, and job training. We serve in the Orting School District to help
increase proficiency in math and literacy with the goal of increasing numbers of
students who graduate.
