  • About Us

The Homeless Outreach and Advocacy Program (HOAP) of the Jan Hus Presbyterian Church has a twofold mission of service and advocacy. Each weekday from 10am to 2pm, the HOAP assists more than fifty guests with immediate responses to their physical needs, providing monthly food pantry items, clothing, toiletries, undergarments and food items for those without cooking facilities. We also offer access to computers, phones, fax machines, and photocopiers. We allow clients to use our address for their mail, and we currently receive mail for over 500 people. We have a small storage facility for forty chronically homeless guests. We also host a Tuesday night dinner program that feeds more than 100 guests.
