About Us
Sf Porchfest is an grassroots, volunteer-based organization dedicated to creating the annual afternoon of music, fun and community known as SF Porchfest. Each year for one afternoon, musicians play on porches, backyards, parklets and stoops of San Francisco's Mission District. All are invited to take part as musicians, hosts, volunteers or members of a roving audience.
SF Porchfest is walkable, bikable, and family-friendly, all genres, all ages, all free. SF Porchfest 2017 is on May 20 from noon to 6 pm, with over 70 bands and musicians and 22 venues registered.
