    Adelante’s Mission is to empower Latinx youth to achieve their dreams and contribute as creative and educated world citizens. La misión de Adelante es empoderar a los jóvenes latinx para que alcancen sus sueños y contribuir como ciudadanos del mundo creativos y educados.

    About Us

    We help students with educational, personal, social, and cultural growth. Our target population includes both U.S. born and recent immigrant and refugee youth from Louisville's Hispanic community.

    Adelante Programs:

    • Mentoring & Enrichment: weekly presentations, workshops and field trips which provide academic support, life skills development, and career opportunities for students and families.
    • After School Tutoring and Homework Help: offered on Wednesdays at Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Thursdays at Olmsted Academy North
    • Parent Involvement: quarterly workshops and ongoing parent support.
    • College Readiness: study skills, ACT preparation, shadowing opportunities, summer "bridge" programs, university visits.
