    The missions of the Mark DeGarmo Dance is to educate disenfranchised NYC communities-and children-about the roles of the arts and dance in society; to promote intercultural inquiry and communication, and create, perform, and disseminate original artistic work.

    About Us

    Mark DeGarmo Dance is a not-for-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization committed to education and the arts, intercultural inquiry, and creativity. MDD works in yearlong, multiyear partnership programs with NYC public schools underserved in the arts, dance and aesthetic education. For many public schools, Mark DeGarmo Dance is often the only provider of dance and arts education.
