Denver Pro Chorale

Denver Pro Chorale (DPC) is a Colorado-based community of professional musicians performing eclectic and diverse choral music for a global community. The Denver Pro Chorale was founded in 2012 by Dr. Michael Kornelsen after several alumni of the Metropolitan State University Denver expressed an interest in continuing to sing in a choral ensemble after graduation. The 36-member choir is comprised primarily of MSU Denver alumni, along with a few current students and other singers from the Denver metropolitan area.

The DPC specializes in singing a cappella choral repertoire from a variety of traditions. The group particularly prides itself on performance of new compositions as well as pieces from throughout the world. The Denver Pro Chorale is in the planning stages to become a professional choir that fosters and supports top-quality singers who wish to remain active in the choral art.
