    About Us

The Snoqualmie Valley, located east of Seattle near the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, currently lacks a centrally located, year-round public aquatics facility of an appropriate size to serve the region.

Si View Pool, built in the 1930s for a town of fewer than 1,000 people, is now the only public indoor pool serving nearly 40,000 residents. Despite recent repairs, the facility is aging and no longer meets the needs of our growing community. Each season, hundreds of students in the region are waitlisted for swim lessons due to limited capacity. In a community surrounded by rivers and lakes, there is a danger that we are one catastrophic failure away from having no public pool to provide affordable health, wellness, and water safety opportunities for residents.

Valley Pool Together was formed in early 2024 in response to this need, and to educate residents about water safety and the need to create a culture of responsibility in our community when it comes to safe water recreation.
