The Aerospace Machinists Institute
Aerospace Machinists Institute is a Washington State non-profit organization that is associated with District Lodge 751 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, one of the largest districts in the IAM. District 751 represents workers primarily employed by Boeing at its facilities in the Puget Sound area and is sponsoring the creation of the Aerospace Machinists Institute to provide, among other things, education and training for employees and prospective employees in the aerospace industry. The Aerospace Machinists Institute is a charitable 501(c)(3) \and is endowed with extensive financial resources available to operate facilities, develop training programs and curricula, hire staff and educators, and engage with employer and community partners.
