To promote community service initiatives and causes that catalyze volunteerism and charitable giving as a way to transform lives while providing a premier, professionally managed running and entertainment event that leverages and celebrates the unique qualities of San Diego.
About Us
The annual San Diego Half Marathon at Petco Park celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of San Diego while raising money to help their communities & charities.
The San Diego Half Marathon is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with all net proceeds going towards community service projects and charities in San Diego. In addition to the funding, we hope to catalyze volunteerism as a way to help hurting communities throughout our city. The San Diego Half Marathon will also benefit ten additional select charities by enabling runners to raise money for any or all of the causes that are important to them.
