  • Mission

Our mission at Voices for Children, a Lorain County Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA/GAL), is to speak for the best interests of abused, neglected and dependent children who are invovled in the Lorain County Juvenile Court System. Based on the belief that every child deserves a safe, permanent and nurturing home, Voices for Children works in the Court system with trained volunteers within our community in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel, children services, etc, to serve as the child's advocate and represent the child in the Juvenile Court System.

    About Us

Our role here at Voices For Children is to embrace our mission and walk it out in responsibility to our abused/neglected/dependent children entering the Court System. This is accomplished through the solid effort of recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers, to represent and speak for each child. The system can be so cold, but each volunteer brings a heart felt commitment and their own unique background and experiences to move with that child through the system.

In 2013, Voices For Children served over 428 children with 142 Volunteer Advocates, all men and women right from our own community. Are you interested? Please check out our web page! www.vfclc.org One may appy online.

We are looking for men and women who want to Make a Difference in the life of an abused and neglected child. Children need someone to speak up for their Best Interests. Children need a Voice. Could you be that Voice?
